abstract | Isocyanate insulating materials.. Nl-. Are prepared as self-hardening mixtures of (a) 50-100 parts by weight of isocyanate modified glycidyl-isocyanoureate, (b) 10-50 parts by weight of liquid, small molecule glycidyl compound (c) 20-100 parts by weight aliphatic or cycloaliphatic amine. Preferably (a) contains 14% by weight epoxide and is based on triglycidylisocyanatourate, modified by compounds containing at least two free isocyanate groups. Accelerators (particularly -OH or tertiary amines) and filling compounds are also added to the mixtures. The mixtures are used as paste and harden in 24 hours to insulators with good heat, mechanical and electrical properties. |
