titleOfInvention MEDICAL SUPPORT ARM AND MEDICAL SYSTEM
abstract [Problem] To keep a subject constantly observing in an area of a captured image when an oblique-view endoscope is inserted into a subject body and operated therein. [Solution] A medical support arm according to the present disclosure includes: a support arm supporting a slanted endoscope; and a computing unit defining a rotation angle of the oblique-vision endoscope about the longitudinal axis and an introduction degree of the oblique-vision endoscope into the subject body based on a first formula defining the coordinates of a photographic subject in a coordinate system in which the aperture serves as the origin wherein the oblique-view endoscope is inserted into the subject body, and a second formula defining the coordinates of the photographic subject in a coordinate system in which the front end of the oblique-vision endoscope serves as the origin, in the direction of the optical axis an objective lens positioned at the front end of the oblique-viewing endoscope.
