In one example, an integrated circuit is disclosed that includes: a first layer having a dielectric, a first conductive compound, and a second conductive compound; a second layer having a third conductive connection; a conductive via between the first layer and the second layer for electrically coupling the second conductive connection to the third conductive connection; a dielectric plug disposed vertically between the first layer and the second layer and arranged to prevent the via forming an electrical short circuit with the first conductive connection; and a dielectric cover covering the dielectric plug. |
