A rectangular electric storage device includes a prism-shaped electrode group having a top surface, a bottom surface, and four side surfaces, the electrode group including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; an electrolyte, a housing having an opening portion, the housing accommodating the electrical load and the electrolyte, a cover plate covering the opening portion of the housing, and an insulation sheet disposed between the electrode group and the housing, which insulate the electrode group and the housing from each other the insulation sheet is folded so as to surround the lower surface and the four side surfaces of the electrode group. |
