abstract |
A display panel of the present invention includes: a display function area (3) consisting of a display functional layer sandwiched between transparent substrates (14, 58) facing each other; and a touch screen portion (1) including a lower wiring (20) and an upper wiring (30) made of a conductive metal material including an interlayer insulating film (11) interposed between the lower wiring (20). and the upper wiring (30), and including a protective film (12) covering the lower wiring (20), the upper wiring (30) and the interlayer insulating film (11). The lower wiring (20) of the touch screen area (1) is formed on a surface on a viewer side of the transparent substrate (14) on the viewer side. In this way, the lower wiring (20) and the upper wiring (30) are made of the chemically stable metal wiring material and formed on the transparent substrate (14) of the display function region (3). Thus, excellent environmental resistance is achieved by forming the interlayer film (11) having excellent water resistance and chemical resistance and the protective film (12), and the thickness and weight of a device can be reduced. |
