| abstract |
An absorbent article comprises a base unit comprising a topsheet, a backsheet and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet, and at least one elastically extensible panel joined to the base unit. The elastically extensible panel comprises a stretch laminate having at least one cover layer and an elastomeric film attached to the cover layer, the elastomeric film having two surfaces and at least one of the surfaces having an outer skin and an adhesive between the outer skin and the cover layer. The elastic laminate has at least one anchoring area and at least one expansion area. The outer skin located in the anchoring area has a multiplicity of folds, these wrinkles having furrows and at least part of the adhesive being located in at least some of these grooves. There is also provided an absorbent article comprising the elastic laminate. |
