This blast furnace plant is equipped with: a blast furnace main body (110); Raw material feeds (111-113) filling an iron ore and coke containing raw material (1) into the interior of the blast furnace main body (110) via the vertex thereof; Hot air stream blowing means (114, 115) for blowing a stream of hot air (101) into the interior of the blast furnace main body (110) via a tuyere; and blast furnace injection coal feeding means (120-129) which inject the blast furnace injection coal (11) via the tuyere into the inside of the blast furnace main body (110). The blast-furnace single-blast coal feeding means (120-129) inject a blast-furnace injection coal (11) having a content of oxygen atoms (on a dry basis) of 10-20% by weight and an average pore size of 10-50 nm. |
