abstract |
A friction belt (B) has a belt body (10) of a rubber composition wound around pulleys to transmit power. The belt (B) comprises a thermoplastic resin film (16) provided to coat a pulley contact surface of the belt body (10) and a powder layer (17) made of powder particles (17a, 17b, 17c) for reduced friction coefficients which is provided on one surface side of the thermoplastic resin film (16). The powder layer (17) comprises powder particles (17a) embedded in the thermoplastic resin film (16), powder particles (17b) supported and exposed on the surface of the thermoplastic resin film (16), and powder particles (17c ) adhered and adhered to the powder particles (17b) carried and exposed on the surface of the thermoplastic resin film (16). |
