abstract |
It is an object of the present invention to improve the water-repellent properties of a portion between an insulating jacket and a waterproof plastic portion in an electric wire without increasing the number of man-hours and equipment for production. An electric cable (1) with a cable lug has an insulated electric cable (10) having a polyolefin-based plastic insulating sheath (12), an adhesive layer (30) formed on an entire circumference of a surface of the insulating sheath (12), and a Having insert molding molded waterproof plastic portion (40). The waterproof plastic portion (40) covers a portion between the adhesive layer (30) of the insulated electric wire (10) and a portion (21) in which the metallic terminal lug (20) is connected to a core wire (11). The adhesive layer (30) comprises a mixture of a copolymer of ethylene and glycidyl methacrylate and a phenol-based vulcanizing agent. The waterproof plastic section (40) comprises aromatic nylon. |
