| abstract |
Electric cable with cable lug, comprising an insulated electric wire (10) comprising a conductive core wire (11) and a polyolefin-based plastic insulating sheath (12) covering a periphery of the core wire (11); a metallic terminal lug (20) electrically connected to the core core (11) at one end portion of the insulated electric wire (10); an adhesive layer (30) comprising a mixture of a copolymer of ethylene and glycidyl methacrylate and a phenol-based curing agent and formed over an entire circumference of a surface of the insulating jacket (12) at an end portion of the insulated electric cable (10); and a waterproof plastic portion (40) comprising aromatic nylon formed by an insert molding method using as the insert portion a protected area defining an area at least between a portion of the insulated electric cable (10) in which the adhesive layer (10) 30), and a portion in which the metallic lug (20) is connected to the core wire (11) so that the waterproof plastic portion covers the protected area. |
