The invention relates to a welding electrode (111) for hybrid laser arc welding (100), which is formed either fixed or as a metal-core electrode. The welding electrode (111) includes at least carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur and phosphorus. The welding electrode (111) comprises at most 0.02% by weight of carbon, manganese in the range of 0.6 to 1.2% by weight, silicon in the range of 0.3 to 0.6% by weight, at most 0.01% by weight -% sulfur or at most 0.01% by weight phosphorus - in each case based on the electrode weight. |
