An electrochemical device is provided which is easy to produce and has excellent properties. An electrochemical device comprises a first electrode comprising an aluminum porous body having interconnecting pores and an active material filled in the pores of the aluminum porous body, a separator, and a second electrode, wherein the first electrode, the separator and the second electrode are stacked wherein a plurality of electrode bodies each including the first electrode, the separator and the second electrode are stacked without being wound. |
