titleOfInvention Short-arc discharge lamp
abstract OBJECTIVE: to provide a construction in a short-arc discharge lamp in which an anode and a cathode are disposed opposite one another inside a luminous tube and the cathode consists of a main body of tungsten and an emitter part connected to the tip end of the main body, wherein by aiming at a reduction of Shrinkage of the cathode main body with the passage of the lighting time, the change in the position of the light spot of the cathode is made small and is aimed at suppressing the decrease in the luminous intensity of the lamp. Means for solving: The marking is that the porosity in the main body of the cathode is lower than that in the emitter part.
