abstract | The invention belongs to octapeptides which are derivatives of octreotide and to the radiopharmaceutical agents based thereon which are used in tumor detection, ie the field of chemistry and medicine. Octapeptide (as an octreotide derivative) corresponds to the overall formula (1): where X and Y = H or the chelate group, in particular DOTA, covalently linked to α- or ε-amino groups of the N-terminal lysine. Octapeptide of the formula (1) forms a chelate complex with radionuclides, for example as gallium isotopes 68 Ga, 66 Ga, 67 Ga with retention of a radiopharmaceutical complex (RPhM). The radiopharmaceutical agent is used for the diagnosis of somatostatin receptor-expressing tumors or their metastases. |
