Nitrogen oxide delivery systems using thermosensitive svnthetischen polymers |
abstract |
A donor capable of targeted release of nitric oxide and a prosthetic implant whose surface is coated with this donor are disclosed. The donor comprises an organic polymer backbone and a side chain covalently attached to the backbone and having a functional diazeniumdiolate group. The targeted nitric oxide donor donor is in a fluid state at room temperature, such as a liquid, and undergoes a sol-gel phase transition at physiological pHs as the temperature rises above the critical temperature. The critical temperature of the phase transition is in the range of 25 to 35 ° C, and the gel is a hydrogel without chemical crosslinks. |
