titleOfInvention | Explosive cartridge, explosive device and blasting process |
abstract | A blasting cartridge (2) includes a generally cylindrical blasting container (21), an explosive (22) filled in the blasting container (21), a pair of supplying wires (23) contained in the blasting container (21), and a single thin metal wire (24) connected to tip portions (231) of the pair of lead wires (23). The feed wire (23) and the thin metal wire (24) are positioned within the explosive (22) within the blasting container (21). The explosive (22) is nitromethane, and the thin metal wire (24) is formed of tungsten. In an electric discharge surge device (1), because the thin metal wire (24) has a higher heating value than a copper wire due to its higher resistance and evaporates at higher temperatures, it is possible to obtain a larger explosive force at lower voltages than this in the case of a blasting device, in which a copper wire is used. |
