abstract |
An electrical energy storage device structure includes a first conductive layer, a second conductive layer, and an electrolyte layer disposed between the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer. In the device, at least one of the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer comprises a layer of carbon nanoparticles. The carbon nanoparticle layer is disposed so as to be adjacent to the electrolyte layer. The carbon nanoparticles may include both high aspect ratio carbon nanoparticles and low aspect ratio carbon nanoparticles. The device is flexible and at least partially transparent. |
