titleOfInvention Process for the preparation of nano-dispersed high-all-trans carotenoid microcapsules
abstract The present invention discloses a process for the preparation of nano-dispersed high all trans carotenoid microcapsules in which high all trans carotenoid crystals are triturated together with dichloromethane to a crystal diameter size of 2-5 μm to give a 10 -20% carotenoid suspension liquid. The suspension liquid in question is placed in a solution reactor with dichloromethane preheated in another way and dissolved into a 0.5-2% solution liquid. The above-mentioned dissolving liquid is simultaneously and continuously supplied with alcohol or isopropanol to a rotary solid-bed, over-expelling crystal precipitator and then dissolved in a thin-film evaporator to a solids content of 10-20%. In this way, a transparent carotenoid-alcohol dispersion liquid is obtained. The respective alcohol dispersion liquid is mixed with antioxidant and protective colloid-containing water solution, nebulized and dried. In this way, nano-dispersed high-all-trans carotenoid microcapsules are obtained. Because the crystals contained in the nano-dispersed high-all-trans carotenoid microcapsules according to the invention are nano-dispersed and the content of trans isomers is more than 90%, the bioavailability is extremely high.
