Polybutylene terephthalate resin composition for insulating components |
abstract |
Use of a polybutylene terephthalate resin composition for insulating components, comprising: (A) 100 parts by weight of a polybutylene terephthalate resin; (B) 5 to 50 parts by weight of a halogen-based flame retardant which is not a halogenated aromatic epoxy compound; (C) 5 to 50 parts by weight of antimony trioxide or antimony pentoxide; and (D) 35 to 70 parts by weight of melamine cyanurate, which composition at each of the test piece thicknesses of 0.75 mm, 1.5 mm and 3 mm satisfies the glow wire ignition temperature, GWIT, requirement of 775 ° C or higher specified in IEC60695-2-13. |
