The present invention relates to a method for connecting material for producing three-dimensional objects by means of selective heating by means of microwave radiation. In contrast to selective laser sintering, the present method uses simple microwave radiation for the production of three-dimensional objects, as is available in every household. The selectivity of the heating is achieved by applying a susceptor to certain partial areas of a layer made of a powdery substrate and then heating the susceptor by means of microwave radiation. The heated susceptor releases the energy present in it to the powdery substrate surrounding it, which is thereby melted and, after cooling, is firmly connected to one another. |
