titleOfInvention Method and apparatus for the cryogenic separation of air
abstract ThenThe invention relates to a method and apparatus for cryogenic separationnof air in a rectification system for nitrogen-oxygen separation, nthe one high pressure columnn(10) and a low pressure columnn(11). A first air stream (1, 3, 7, 9) is compressed,nchilledn(8) and into the high-pressure columnn(10) initiated (9). A second air stream (1, 4, 12, 412, 435,n542) is condensed, work-relaxed (436) and in thenLow-pressure columnn(11) (412). The low pressure column (11) or the high pressure column (10) isnat least one product fraction (22, 27, 627) taken. The firstnAirflow is upstreamnthe coolingn(8) compressed to a first pressure which is lower than the operating pressurenthe high pressure columnn(10) is, and downstreamnthe compression to the first pressure in a secondary compressor (5)ncompressed to a second pressure which is higher than the first pressure.nThe second air flow (4) is upstream of the working expansionnthe first pressure compacted and under a third pressure of the work-performingnRelaxation (436) supplied, whereinnthe third pressure is lower than the second pressure.
