Nuclear anti-adhesive peptides |
abstract |
The present invention relates to antiproliferative peptides comprising the amino acid sequence (all-D) NH 2 -RGDRQIKIWFQNRRMKWKK-COOH or a hydropathically homologous amino acid sequence. Furthermore, the invention relates to nucleic acids which code for these peptides, peptide nucleic acids whose structure is homologous to that of said nucleic acids, as well as pharmaceutical compositions containing this peptide. The invention finds use in the therapy of diseases associated with increased cell proliferation, in particular cancer, atherosclerosis and psoriasis. |
