titleOfInvention Process for loading a fiber suspension with calcium carbonate and arrangement for carrying out the process
abstract A method for charging a pulp suspension with cellulose fibers with calcium carbonate comprises the following process steps: Formation of a fiber suspension by using cellulose fibers dissolved in water in a concentration range between 0.01% and 60% as the starting material, Introducing calcium hydroxide in liquid or dry form or calcium oxide into the fiber suspension (area 44) or into the water which is added to the fiber suspension as dilution water, - Mixing gaseous carbon dioxide in the fiber suspension or in the water which is added to the fiber suspension as dilution water, whereby calcium carbonate is precipitated as a result of the reaction of carbon dioxide with calcium hydroxide.
