abstract |
The present invention relates to a sintered powder made of polyamide, which additionally has PMMI, PMMA or copolymers with PMMI, in particular PMMI-PMMA copolymers, the use of this sintered powder for laser sintering and moldings produced from this sintered powder. The molded articles built with the powder according to the invention have clear advantages over conventional products in terms of their appearance and surface quality, particularly as regards the roughness and dimensional accuracy of the selective laser sintering (SLS) process. In addition, moldings produced from sintered powder according to the invention also have improved mechanical properties compared to moldings based on conventional polyamide 12 powders, in particular in terms of the modulus of elasticity and tensile strength. In addition, such shaped bodies also have a density that is close to that of the injection molded bodies. |
