abstract The first object of the invention was to provide a medical device that can effectively prevent the backflow of blood. DOLLAR A A first embodiment according to the invention is a medical device with a check valve contained therein, the check valve having a valve seat with a tapered tube and a small-lumen tube connected to the small-lumen opening of the tapered tube and extending to the outside, the large-lumen opening of the tapered tube is fluid-tightly attached to the inner surface of a side arm; and has a flexible valve body attached to the outer peripheral surface of the small-lumen tube of the valve seat and a slot which opens by fluid pressure from the side of the large-lumen opening of the tapered tube, but closes by the fluid pressure from the side of the small-lumen tube.
