abstract |
A container for releasing a chemical additive into a fluid material selected from the group consisting of a liquid lubricant composition and a hydraulic fluid composition, the container comprising: - A fluid-impermeable housing that defines a substantially hollow interior and at least one opening; A fluid material additive composition provided in the interior of the housing, the fluid material additive composition comprising a chemical additive that effectively provides and is beneficial to a fluid material selected from the group consisting of a liquid lubricant composition and a hydraulic fluid composition dissolves; and - At least one fluid material permeable element, which is provided at or near the opening of the housing and effectively enables the release of a part of the chemical additive into the fluid material that is in contact with the housing. |
