The present invention relates to a core-shell particle comprising a core, a first shell and optionally a second shell, wherein: i) the core, based on its total weight, comprises at least 75.0% by weight of (meth) acrylate repeating units; ii) the first shell has a glass transition temperature less than 30 ° C; iii) the optionally second shell comprises, based on its total weight, at least 75.0% by weight of (meth) acrylate repeating units; iv) the first shell, by weight, comprises the following constituents: E) 92.0 to 98.0 wt .-% (meth) acrylate repeat units and F) 2.0 to 8.0% by weight of styrenic repeat units of the general formula (I) wherein the radicals R 1 to R 6 are defined as described and the percentages by weight of E) and F) add up to 100.0% by weight, v) the radius of the core-shell particle including the optional second shell, measured by the Coulter method, in the range of greater than 160.0 to 240.0 nm. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a process for the production of core-shell particles, a molding composition containing core-shell particles and their use. |
