abstract |
The object of the invention is a novel method for the separation of polymer systems with regard to molecular weight, chemical structure, chain architecture and colloidal additives. Such separations are currently carried out by selective precipitation from solution, by fractional crystallization also from solution and by means of gel chromatography methods. The invention relates to a separation of polymer systems by means of permeation through polymer films - partially crystalline, crosslinked, amorphous - with thicknesses in the nanometer range. The limitation to thicknesses in the nanometer range is necessary for a high polymer throughput. Selectivity towards colloidal additives with a non-chain structure is of particular importance. |
