An expansion structure (10) for insertion into a hollow organ is provided with expansion rods (12) which, starting from a first connecting section (14), extend essentially in a longitudinal direction (36) of the expanding structure (10) to a second connecting section (16 ) extend, are distributed over the circumference of the expansion structure (10) and can be applied to a wall of the hollow organ by radial expansion. In order to provide a spreading structure (10) that can be produced inexpensively and used in many different ways, the spreading bars (12) have at least one area (22) in the longitudinal direction, which has a reduced bending stiffness in comparison to neighboring areas (20, 24). The invention further relates to a use of the spreading structure, a spreading device and a method for arranging a spreading structure. |
