abstract | The present invention relates to complexes of the formula (I) or (II) wherein X independently of one another an alkyl or silyl group or an aromatic or heteroaromatic group, Y is an alkylene or silylene radical, wherein the amide nitrogen atoms bound to the Sc are bonded via two bonds to the carbon atom of the unsaturated heterocyclic ring, R is a hydride, alkyl, aryl, alkylsilyl, tetraalkylaluminate or enolate ligand, S independently of one another a substituent, n represents an integer between zero and three for formula (I) or between zero and two for formula (II), where n is the number of substituents S, D for formula (I) represents nitrogen or phosphorus and for formula (II) represents oxygen or sulfur. The complexes of the invention are particularly suitable for the polymerization of olefins. |
