| abstract |
Such a heat sink is used to dissipate the heat loss from components of the frequency converter on which a speed-controllable three-phase motor is operated with a brake circuit which requires a braking resistor. In order to simplify the design, the heat sink fulfills a double function by also taking up the braking resistor and cooling it as well. |
