titleOfInvention | Continuous process for the extraction of butenes from a C4 cut |
abstract | A continuous process for the recovery of butenes from a C¶4¶ cut containing butane, butenes and other C¶3¶-C¶5¶ hydrocarbons by extractive distillation with a selective solvent (LM) is proposed, with DOLLAR A a first Process stage I in a washing zone (E) and DOLLAR A in a second process stage II in a degassing zone (A), DOLLAR A whereby from the degassing zone (A) by a separation stage which is one or more separation stages below the supply of the bottom stream (LM / C¶ 4¶H¶8¶) from the washing zone (E), the liquid or a partial flow of the liquid is withdrawn from the degassing zone (A), heated by indirect heat exchange with the hot bottom stream (LM) from the degassing zone (A) and / or evaporated and returned to the outgassing zone (A) on the same separation stage or above it, and the separation stage from which the liquid or the partial liquid stream is withdrawn is chosen such that s the total energy requirement in process stages I and II is minimal. |
