titleOfInvention Metal housing for holding an RF circuit
abstract A metal housing for receiving an HF circuit is described, which has a main housing part (2) with a bottom (9) and with a peripheral wall (10) DOLLAR A based on the bottom (9) and a cover (1), which overlaps the edge of the peripheral wall (10) of the main housing part (2), DOLLAR A whereby means for high-frequency sealing of a gap between the main housing part (2) and the cover (1) are provided between the cover (1) and the main housing part (2). DOLLAR A According to the invention, it is provided that the main housing part (2) and the cover (1) are each produced in one piece by a casting process, in particular by a die casting process, and that the means for high-frequency sealing of the gap between the main housing part (2) and the cover (1) is formed by a ring of lamellae (21) which are integrally formed on the cover (1) and are arranged such that they resiliently rest against the inside of the peripheral wall (10) of the main housing part (2) when the housing is closed.
