abstract | The present invention relates to mixing systems comprising the components polyvinylpyrrolidone and / or their copolymers and dimethyl sulfoxide. The invention further comprises polymer matrices containing these mixing systems, transdermal therapeutic systems based on the polymer matrices and their production. The mixing system enables otherwise poorly soluble pharmaceutical active ingredients, e.g. B. ibuprofen, in a non-polar matrix. The advantage of the system is that it enables polar active ingredients in a non-polar matrix such as. B. polyisobutylene can be solved beyond the saturation point. In addition, the mixing system prevents the crystallization of the active ingredient, so that a constant release of the active ingredient over the entire shelf life of a transdermal therapeutic system, such as. B. plaster is guaranteed. |
