titleOfInvention | catalyst support |
abstract | The present invention relates to a support for catalysts which is formed from particles with at least bimodal particle size distribution, the support being essentially composed of primary particles and at least one particulate binder, characterized in that a first maximum of the particle size distribution at 1000 nm and a second Maximum is at a particle size that is half to a fiftieth of the first maximum and the primary and binder particles are each particles with a particle size distribution that has a standard deviation of less than 10%. The subject of the application is furthermore a production process for heterogeneous catalysts which contain this support, corresponding catalysts and the use of these catalysts for olefin polymerization or a polymerization process using the catalysts. |
