A method for connecting flat shaped parts is described, in which an aqueous adhesive dispersion is applied to at least one interface of the shaped parts to be connected. This aqueous adhesive dispersion is then gently dried using electromagnetic radiation. Essential radiation components of the radiation causing the heating lie in the wavelength range of the near infrared. Coated (sheet-like) molded parts of this type can be stored temporarily and the adhesive layer can then be activated, so that the molded parts can be joined, if necessary, by pressing. This process is suitable for the production of molded parts for vehicle construction, in particular for the production of door side parts, headlining, body pillars, hat racks, dashboards and similar functional elements of vehicle construction. |
