abstract Organic compounds, in particular those which are substituted by at least one fluorine atom, can be isolated from their mixtures with amine HF adducts by adding a solvent which causes the formation of two liquid phases, one phase being the solvent and the one to be separated off organic compound and the other phase contains the amine HF adduct.
