abstract | A manufacturing method for composite bodies is provided that enables reduction of galvanic corrosion. The method is for manufacturing a composite body obtained by joining together a mating member made of ferrous metal and a non-ferrous metal material. The method includes: a press-fitting step of press-fitting a ferrous metal fastener into a predetermined surface of the nonferrous metal material; and a welding step of forming a fused portion between an exposed portion of the connecting member press-fitted into the nonferrous metal material and the mating member. After the press-fitting step, a portion of the fastener is exposed from the predetermined surface and the remaining portion of the fastener is not exposed and is embedded in the non-ferrous metal material. The remaining part of the connecting element has a pinching portion with a surface facing the predetermined surface. |
