titleOfInvention | Radiation Curable Composition |
abstract | The invention relates to a radiation-curable composition comprising - at least one reactive monomer and/or at least one reactive oligomer and - at least one photoinitiator compound, wherein the composition is free of an acylphosphine oxide compound andthe at least one photoinitiator compound has the following formula I: whereby - X represents a halogen atom, - Y represents an alkylene or alkenylene group, - Z is a group of the formula -[OCH 2 CH 2 ] y -, -[OCH 2 CH 2 CH 2 CH 2 ] y - or -[OCH(CH 3 )CH 2 ] y -, where y is an integer of 1 to 20, or a group of the formula -[O(CH 2 ) b CO] y - or -[O(CH 2 ) b CO] (y-1) -[O(CHR''CHR') a ]- means, where b is an integer from 4 to 5 and y is an integer from 1 to 20, - W represents a residue of a polyhydroxy compound and - x is an integer greater than 1, it being possible for groups bonded to the group W to be the same or different from one another. The invention also relates to a method for coating a substrate, a substrate coated with the radiation-curable composition, and a kit. |
