A power tool has a jacket that can be easily assembled while reducing the likelihood of enlarging the power tool. The power tool has a motor (6), which has a stator (62) and a rotor (61) which is rotatable relative to the stator (62) about an axis of rotation (AX), a gear (7), which in response can be driven to rotate the rotor (61), a motor chamber (21) which houses the motor (6), a rear cover (3) which covers a rear opening in the motor chamber (21), a gear housing (4), which houses the gearbox (7) and covers a front opening in the motor chamber (21), a first screw (110) that fixes the rear cover (3) and the motor chamber (21) together, and a second screw (120) which fixes the motor chamber (21) and the gear housing (4) together, and is located at a different position from the first screw (110) in a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation (AX). |
