abstract The present invention relates to a herbicidal composition in which the active ingredients are prodiamine and amicarbazone in a weight ratio of from 8:1 to 1:1; further the present invention relates to a herbicide comprising the herbicidal composition and pesticidally acceptable carriers and adjuvants; furthermore, the present invention relates to a herbicide suspension which is produced using the composite surfactant. The herbicide composition or herbicide of the present invention exhibits an excellent effect in controlling weeds in corn fields, particularly in controlling barnyardgrass or crabgrass. Compared with a single agent, the herbicidal composition of the present invention exhibits a synergistic effect of 120 or more, and thus exhibits an excellent synergistic effect; the herbicidal composition or herbicidal suspension of the present invention is suitable for use in corn fields and can effectively control corn barnyardgrass or crabgrass; meanwhile, it also has the advantages of wide weed elimination spectrum, high efficiency and effective cost reduction.
