titleOfInvention METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE HARQ PROCESS ID
abstract A mobile radio communication terminal can have a memory on which computer-readable commands are stored. The UE may also include one or more processors operatively coupled to the memory and configured to read and execute the computer readable instructions to perform or control the operations. The operations may include receiving downlink control information (DCI) from a gNodeB (gNB). The DCI may have information associated with a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process identifier (ID). The operations can also include receiving a transport block (TB) that includes data from the gNB (gNB). In addition, the operations may include determining the HARQ process ID associated with the TB based on the DCI and an index value. Furthermore, the operations can include at least the storage of part of the data of the TB in a soft buffer which corresponds to the determined HARQ process ID.
