In various embodiments, a medical application device (100) for administering a liquid drug is provided, the medical application device (100) has: a reservoir (104) which is set up to receive the liquid drug; an application structure (106) which is set up to administer the liquid medicament from the reservoir (104) into an environment (116) external to the application device; a dosing device (108) which is coupled to the reservoir (104) and is set up to set a dose of the liquid medicament in the reservoir (104), which dose can be administered in one application of the medical application device (100), and for administering the dose ; a distance detection device (114) which is set up to detect a distance (118) between the application structure (106) and the environment (116) external to the application device; a position detection device (112) which is set up to detect a position (130) of the medical application device (100) with respect to the environment (116) external to the application device; and a dose detection device (110) which is set up to detect the dose of the liquid medicament to be administered and the administration of the dose. |
