abstract | The invention relates to a method for producing a rubber spring (2). A molding tool (4) is used for the method which has several molding tool parts (6, 8) and can be moved between a closed position and an open position. In the closed position, the molding tool (4) forms a molding chamber (10) with a molding surface (12) surrounding the molding chamber (10) and having a plurality of channel openings (14) each leading to inflow channels (16). After a head connection unit (18) and a foot connection unit (20) have been inserted into receiving seats (22, 24) on the mold surface (12), a first and a second rubber material are successively passed through the inflow channels (16) and channel opening (14) into the remaining Part of the molding chamber (10) promoted so that the second rubber material is arranged on the outside of the first rubber material. The second rubber material contains a fire retardant. Then the first and second rubber material is vulcanized together, so that the rubber spring (2) with the fire protection layer is made from the vulcanized, second rubber material (42). |
