| abstract |
A work machine includes a frame and a set of ground engaging members that are movably supported by the frame and driven by a motor to drive the movement of the machine in a work site. The machine includes a position sensor configured to generate a machine position sensor signal indicative of a location of the mobile work machine. The machine contains a communication component that communicates with a job server and retrieves object position data. The machine also includes virtual model generator logic that determines that the object is in a field of view of an operator of the machine based on the sensor signal of the machine position and the object position data, and generates an extension display that indicates the determination. The machine includes augmentation logic that creates and displays an augmented reality overlay based on the extension display and displays a display of the object near the object in the operator's field of view. |
