abstract |
The invention relates to a method for zero point calibration (83) of a nitrogen oxide sensor which is cross-sensitive to ammonia and which is arranged in an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine downstream of an SCR catalytic converter, with at least one measured value of the nitrogen oxide sensor in an operating state of the internal combustion engine in which the exhaust system contains no nitrogen oxides is used as an adaptation value. The zero point calibration (83) is only released (82) if the exhaust gas system does not contain any ammonia at the position of the nitrogen oxide sensor. |
