titleOfInvention Display unit
abstract The invention relates to a display unit (75) which has at least one first optical component (60) which is designed to direct light of a first wavelength range (40a) onto a retina (20) of a viewer in such a way that at least one virtual object the retina (20) is imaged. In addition, the display unit (75) has at least one second optical component (70) which is designed to transmit light from the visible wavelength range (25) onto the retina (20) of the viewer in such a way that at least one real object (35) is formed an environment of the viewer is imaged on the retina (20). The display unit (75) also has a photochromatic component (80) which is designed to do this as a function of a relative position of the at least one virtual object imaged on the retina to the at least one real object (35) imaged on the retina absorb at least partially light (25) incident from the visible wavelength range. The invention also relates to an optical system (1) with the display unit (75) and a method for at least partially superimposing at least one virtual and one real object (35) on a retina (20) of a viewer by means of the optical system (1).
