abstract |
Process for producing an endless drive belt made of elastomeric material with internal strength members or cords running in the longitudinal direction of the belt, whereby a tubular drive belt blank is built up in layers from individual material or mixture layers applied to a rotating drum (building drum) and the strength members at an angle to Drum axis on or between individual layers of material or mixtures are wound, whereby after completion of the structure and after its vulcanization, the tubular blank is cut into individual drive belts, with several individual strength members running parallel to the drum being wound so that all the strength members after winding are arranged helically or helically with the same pitch next to each other on or in the respective tubular material layers located on the drum. |
