An active stylus and touch screen display device. The touch screen display device includes a display panel, a touch sensor, and a touch circuit. The touch sensor is arranged in an area corresponding to the display panel to output an uplink signal containing signal intensity information regarding the intensity of a downlink signal output from an active stylus and a position information signal corresponding to a touched position on the display panel in response to the downlink signal . The touch circuit controls the touch sensor to output the uplink signal and receives the position information signal from the touch sensor in response to the downlink signal output from the active stylus. |
