titleOfInvention | endoscope |
abstract | The invention relates to an endoscope (1) comprising an insertion tube (2) for insertion into a body cavity of a patient, the insertion tube (2) having a distal end (3), a control body (4) with control wheels (5, 6) for movement of the distal end (3) of the insertion tube (2), the insertion tube (2) being arranged with its end facing away from the distal end (3) on the control body (4), and a supply cable (7) which is firmly connected to the control body (4) and which is provided at its end remote from the control body (4) with a supply plug (8) which is designed to interact with a supply unit, with at least one air duct (9) in the insertion tube (2) for supplying air to the distal end (3 ), a water channel (10) for supplying water to the distal end (3) and a suction channel (11) for sucking off medium from the distal end (3). In order to be able to carry out the cleaning process simply, inexpensively and quickly and thereby improve hygiene, the invention provides that the insertion tube (2) is detachably attached to the control body (4) by means of a coupling element (12), with the insertion tube (2) a line (13) which is fluidly connected to the suction channel (11) and attaches to the end of the suction channel (11) facing away from the distal end (3). |
